InnoBee — Innovation Management Platform

The Challenge
Organizations running innovation challenges, hackathons, or idea competitions typically rely on scattered tools — emails, spreadsheets, separate submission forms, and manual judging — to manage the full lifecycle of a challenge. This makes it hard to scale participation, track submissions transparently, coordinate judges/evaluators fairly, and manage the process from challenge posting to winner selection, especially when running multiple challenges with large numbers of participants simultaneously.
The Solution
Built as a large-scale platform (developed by a 20-person team) enabling organizations to run end-to-end innovation challenges, including: Challenge Posting — organizations/admins can create and publish challenges with defined criteria, timelines, and eligibility Participant Flow — multiple users can discover, join, and submit solutions to challenges, similar to a job/hiring-style application flow (profile, submission, tracking) Judging & Evaluation — dedicated judge roles to review, score, and evaluate submissions against defined criteria Winner Selection & Prizes — structured process for ranking submissions and awarding winners Role-based access across participants, judges, and admins, supporting concurrent challenges at scale A LinkedIn-hiring-style UX — structured profiles, applications/submissions, and status tracking, applied to the innovation-challenge context
The Outcome
Delivered a scalable platform capable of managing multiple concurrent innovation challenges with large participant volumes — replacing ad hoc, manual challenge management with a structured, role-based system for posting, participating, judging, and rewarding — built and maintained by a 20-developer team, reflecting its scale and complexity.
